Fine Line Tattoo After Care

  • Leave bandage on for 2-5 days

  • If the bandage starts to peel off or if you would like to remove it early, that’s fine! No need to reapply

  • After removing bandage, wash with unscented antibacterial soap and moisturize with provided tattoo ointment 2x daily until healed

DO NOT:

  • Submerge your tattoo in water - no baths, hot tubs, jacuzzi, swimming in pools or beaches

  • Put your tattoo in direct sunlight

  • Work out for 2-5 days

  • Wear tight clothing on top of the tattoo

Days 1-7 after your brow procedure:

  1. Wash brows daily (morning and night), begin by washing your hands and then gently wash your eyebrows each morning and night with baby shampoo and water by using your fingertips to gently cleanse the eyebrows.

  2. Rub the area up In a circular motion for 10 seconds and rinse with water. Use a very light touch when cleansing your brows.

  3. Make sure you rinse off all soap. Pat with a paper towel to dry the area. Your skin must air dry 5-10 minutes before moving to "Step 4". THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT.

  4. Moisturize after washing with a rice grain size of aftercare ointment with a Q-tip and spread It across the area.

DO NOT:

  • Use any cleansing products containing acids (glycolic, lactic, or AHA), or any exfoliants. Johnson's baby shampoo Is a good option to use.

  • Over apply the product. This will suffocate your skin and delay healing. The ointment should be barely noticeable on the skin.

  • Never put the ointment on a wet or damp tattoo

  • Pick, scratch, scrub or rub forcefully

  • Touch the pigmented area with bare or dirty hands

  • Wear makeup around the brow area

  • Get threaded or waxed for the first 4-6 weeks

  • Get them wet or soak (shower, bath, swimming pool, hot tub, etc.)

  • Exercise or sweat excessively

  • Use products containing AHA, Rentin A, Glycolic, or Lactic Acid

  • Get laser treatments, botox or facials for at least 6 weeks

  • Sleep face down

Brow After Care

Average Brow Healing Time + Process

Average healing time will vary from person to person and will depend on several factors that include age, skin type, circulation, hormonal cycles, and how easily and/or severely you swell and bruise.  Generally, as with any type of skin trauma, older looser skin tends to take a bit longer than younger skin to heal.  Other factors that may affect healing time include diet, excessive physical activity, exposure to direct sunlight, and any medications you might be taking.

8-10 Week Brow or Tattoo Touch Up

After approximately two (2) weeks, your tattoos will have mostly healed during the “shedding” or “scabbing” process. As a result, the initial intensity and thickness will fade, and the desired color shade will start appearing after the first 3 weeks. At about the 8-10 week mark, you will complete your touch up procedure to fill in any areas needing correction or modification. This session is NOT intended to change the shape of the initial appointment, as this was agreed upon at your initial procedure. If you would like to change the shape at your appointment, you will have to pay for the services accordingly.

During this touch-up session, the eyebrow tattoo artist will go over your eyebrows again, exactly repeating the initial session. This repetition helps the tattoo last longer and encourages the ink to embed more permanently into the skin.

After touch-up procedure an annual color boost is recommended to keep shape and color of desired brows.
